The Ubiquiti UniFi®Switch is a premium solution for your home's Ethernet network and can simultaneously process traffic on all 16 ports at line rate without packet loss. Suits smaller home networks (eg. Units/Townhomes) or specific areas in a linked network such as behind your AV cluster, in your home office or media room. For larger port or power requirements, a 24 port and a 48 port model is available with greater PoE capacity (see related devices).

As a small backbone data network setup it can link together Smart Home equipment such as Surveillance cameras, media servers & players, network storage systems, WiFI Access Point networks, home automation, Audio Visual devices, Internet linking routers and other Ethernet connected equipment.
